We have received a number of reports regarding antisocial driving in and around the Oswestry area including several town centre car parks.
Officers have been responding to these concerns and carrying out proactive patrols over the area. However, we need your help.

Evidence is vital in helping us identify those responsible and take action.
Antisocial and dangerous driving is far more than just a nuisance. Behaviours such as excessive speed, racing, wheel spinning, drifting, revving engines and aggressive driving can put pedestrians, cyclists and other road users at serious risk of injury.
These actions can also cause significant alarm, distress and frustration for local residents, businesses and visitors who simply want to use the area safely. Car parks are often busy with families, children and other vulnerable road users, making irresponsible driving particularly dangerous.
We are committed to tackling this behaviour and will take robust action against those identified. Depending on the circumstances, this may include Traffic Offence Reports, prosecution and the use of Section 59 powers, which can ultimately lead to vehicles being seized from repeat offenders.
